Accessibility isn't Just a Tick Box on a Tender

Accessibility should be more than just a tick box on a procurement spreadsheet. It's more than just meeting WCAG Guidance on that one-off PDF. And it's all about inclusivity, not just accessibility.

As an agency with disabled ownership we genuinely care about this stuff and we work on accessibility as a topic all the time. And we don't think we should keep our best practice a secret – even if it does win us a few more marks on those tenders that ask the right questions.

So we've pulled together all our thinking on accessibility. It covers broad principles, language and vocabulary, screen readers, Alt-Text, inclusive imagery, websites, video, audio, social media, publishing, even events and meetings. Oh yes – and colour contrast, fonts and WCAG guidance...

We're happy to share it – just drop us a line at info@whistlejacketlondon.com. We'd like to spread the word.

And if you know more than us and can see any omissions - do tell us. We're good at this stuff. But happy to learn more.
